What do you already know and what do you want to learn?
I have the basics of Microsoft office word, Microsoft excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. My goal is to become more knowledgeable about the different software and programs that the computers offer. Based on the Survey Monkey survey, there are some types of computer programs and software that I am not familiar with.
Explain why you chose these goals?
I can better assist my students and be more efficient doing my daily planning.
I also know word, excel and powerpoint. Any other programs I would have to learn. I hope to learn more about technology and how I can use it in the classroom to teach the children.
ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about knowing these basic programs is that many other programs tend to follow similar ways of navigating and operating. So, you are one step ahead of what you thought.

The advantages of more specific goals is that it makes it easier to create an action plan on what you will do to meet those goals and to determine whether you have met those goals at the end of the course. Please rethink about what you already know and can build on to succeed in this class--both about technology and pedagogy--and post an update to your goals.
